Video & phone sessions

Remote counseling options for eligible clients.

Video and phone sessions can make care more accessible when remote service is clinically appropriate and the client’s location is within the clinician’s authorized jurisdiction.

Before a remote appointment

  • Confirm the clinician is available and authorized to serve you where you are physically located
  • Ask which secure platform or phone process will be used
  • Choose a private setting and reliable connection when possible
  • Discuss a backup plan if the connection is interrupted

Important

Telehealth availability should not be read as an “all of Texas” promise until the practice confirms each clinician’s current license status, jurisdiction, clinical fit, and operational availability.

Remote counseling is not an emergency service.

Ask whether telehealth is available to you.

Call the practice and share only the basic information needed to confirm eligibility and scheduling.
